Ashridge Business School has launched a programme that helps managers to plan and implement talent management systems within an organisation.
Hertfordshire (PRWEB) August 20, 2008 — Ashridge Business School has launched a programme that helps managers to plan and implement talent management systems within an organisation.
The two and a half day programme is based on Ashridge’s research and work in the area of talent management. Most recently, the 2008 Ashridge Management Index revealed that over half of managers felt that their organisation was not doing enough to develop talent.
“Attracting and retaining talent is one of the big challenges for any organisation. Despite this, many organisations have either not planned or are unsure as to how to deal with the issue. This programme will help managers to understand what is required to develop and deliver a talent management system, properly aligned with the overall strategy of the business,” said Tony Montes, Programme Director.
The programme is aimed at business and human resources managers, organisational design specialists and consultants whose remit involves talent management. Using a range of tools and techniques, the programme covers a number of areas, including how to frame the business case for talent management; understanding the operational issues and avoiding common pitfalls and problems.
The first programme is due to run on 11 - 13 August 2008 and then again on 24 - 26 November 2008 at Ashridge, Hertfordshire, UK. Programme fees are £2,750 + VAT and inclusive of all residential costs.
